Mammoth - Band Baltimore Concert reviews
Goo Goo Dolls and Matchbox 20, BEST CONCERT EVER!!
The concert with Kate Earl as the opening act was amazing! Her songs were pretty unique, and she had a great tone suited for the concert. Both bands blew me away, and I bought the tickets with the intent to watch the Goo Goo Dolls with Mammoth - Band as a bonus. The Goo Goo Dolls were amazing as expected (I've seen them three times in concert), but Rob Thomas and the rest of Mammoth - Band put on a mind-blowing show (first time I have seen them). They got the crowd pumped up, and Rob Thomas took a fan's cell phone at one point to video record the bass and lead guitar players jamming out, then handed the phone back to the fan. It was the coolest thing! The energy from Mammoth - Band and the Goo Goo Dolls was always up, with a great set list from both bands. Just an overall great time.
I sat in the back in the theater at Riverbend for the first time, and I have to say that I don't think there are any bad seats in the house. I could see pretty well, and I don't think the lawn would be too bad either.
Wonderful experience overall, and I'd see both bands play again!
